Mandated Reporter Training

Elder abuse is an under-reported issue with an estimated 1 in 6 older Americans experiencing some sort of abuse yet only 1 in 24 cases are reported. For World Elder Abuse Awareness Month 2022, the Kent County Elder Abuse Coalition hosted a training on Mandated Reporting to explain the different reporting agencies if you suspect abuse or neglect and what are the mandated reporter requirements.
